Off-Road Motorcycle Training – Structured Coaching Sessions
These session provide structured off-road motorcycle training designed to develop rider control, confidence, technique and progression.
Participants are assessed and allocated to ability-based groups, and coached through a series of exercises and activities appropriate to their experience and skill level.
PLEASE NOTE: These sessions are not a guided trail ride or experience day. All activities are instruction-led and delivered with defined coaching objectives and clear progression outcomes.
WHAT YOU ARE BOOKING
You are booking a coached training session delivered in one of the following formats:
- Group training (ability-based allocation)
- Private group sessions (family / mixed ability groups)
- 1-to-1 coaching (beginner or advanced riders)
Riders are grouped based on experience level to ensure appropriate coaching progression.
SESSION STRUCTURE
All training follows a consistent format:
- Morning session: 10:30 – 12:30
- Afternoon session: 13:30 – 15:30
- Full day sessions: 10:30 – 15:30
Sessions include:
- Fundamental control coaching
- Progressive skill development
- Terrain-based coaching exercises
- Rider feedback and correction
Arrival is required 15 minutes before start time.
WHO THIS IS FOR
- Complete beginners including non-riders – no licence necessary ( appropriate 1-to-1 or private session available if required)
- Road riders transitioning to off-road
- Enduro / MX riders refining technique
- Youth riders (with guardian supervision where required)
If booking for multiple riders with mixed ability, a private group session is recommended.
EQUIPMENT
Rental bikes and protective kit are available if selected at booking.
If using rental equipment, you must bring:
- Base layer clothing (long sleeve / leggings / sportswear)
- Helmet liner or balaclava recommended
If using your own equipment:
- Helmet compliant with current safety standards (ECE 22.05, ECE 22.06, or ACU approved)
- Motocross Style Boots
- Gloves
- Protective riding clothing
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER BOOKING
After booking you will receive a confirmation email containing:
- Mandatory rider check-in form
- Medical declaration
- Emergency contact submission (ICE)
- Rider sizing (if rental required)
- Session information and logistics
⚠️ Your place is not fully confirmed until the check-in form is completed.
LOCATION
Training is delivered at various approved off-road venues across Scotland.
Exact location details are issued via WhatsApp and email prior to your session.
For planning purposes, you will be given a general region at time of booking.
IMPORTANT
Off-road motorcycle training is physically demanding and carries inherent risk.
By booking you confirm:
- You will follow instructor guidance at all times
- You are responsible for your own fitness and participation level
- You accept the risks associated with motorsport activity
